After being solicited by several researchers for help with a wide range of fluid dynamic problems, Dr. Philip Watts founded applied fluids engineering, inc. in the fall of 1998 as a business registered with Los Angeles County, California. Incorporation in the State of California followed in the fall of 1999.
Dr. Watts obtained his B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California. He has also done post-doctoral work in Chemical Engineering at Caltech and in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. To view a resume of Dr. Watts CLICK HERE.
